Madison Clayton joined the Mountaineer Athletic Club as its associate director of development, leadership annual giving and special events in April 2022.
The Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, native recently completed an internship with the Pittsburgh Penguins after earning her master’s degree in sports administration at Ohio University in 2022. Clayton had a graduate assistantship at Ohio in student-athlete development while completing her master’s work.
She played three seasons of soccer at Pitt and earned her bachelor’s degree in communications there before transferring to Ohio University for her final season in 2021. Her work experience also includes an internship in Pitt’s media relations department and camp operations.
She currently resides in nearby Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
