Griffin Lamb

Griffin Lamb comes to West Virginia from his home state of Oklahoma.  Griffin began his college journey as a student athlete as a member of the football team at Centre College in Danville, Ky.  He transferred after one year to Oklahoma State University.

Griffin earned his degree in Sports Business Management from Oklahoma State University in 2023.  While attending OSU he also worked in the Athletic Department in marketing and donor relations.  He was also an active member of the Signa Nu Fraternity.

During his collegiate years Griffin worked at Quail Creek Country Club in the Golf Pro Shop (Oklahoma City).  He also served on a United States Senate campaign staff.  His campaign assignments included event preparation, fundraising, donor relationships and assistant to the candidate.

Prior to college, Griffin was a voting member of the Jim Thorpe Award committee.  The Jim Thorpe Award is the annual recognition of the best defensive back in college football.  As the youngest and only high school student on the committee he provided research and a unique perspective as the committee made nominations and the ultimate selection.

Griffin is excited about joining the Mountaineer family as a graduate assistant while pursuing a masters degree in Sports Management.
