Connor Smith joined the Mountaineer Athletic Club in April 2022 and currently serves as Premium Seating Coordinator.
In his current role, Smith is responsible for all premium seating operations during WVU Football and Basketball home games. This includes recruiting, hiring, and training game day staff as well as working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a good experience for WVU Athletics’ biggest supporters. Smith also helps in areas of annual giving, management of premium seating accounts, and gift processing.
Prior to becoming the MAC’s Premium Seating Coordinator, Smith spent seven months as a Premium Seating Assistant and five months as a Development Intern for the MAC.
His other professional experience includes stints as a game-day supervisor and game day worker for the MAC from August 2019 until November 2021, and a facilities internship with the West Virginia Black Bears during the 2020 season.
The Keyser, West Virginia, native earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management from WVU in 2021 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport management.
He resides in Morgantown with his wife Breanna.
