What accomplishments has your scholarship helped you accomplish? In the classroom, in the community and/or in your sport?

My scholarship has given me the ability to graduate with a great degree with a GPA around 3.3. I’ll be able to pursue a masters degree, and I will be set up for the future in whatever job I’d like to. In my sport, I’ve been able to develop my golf game to a high level. I’ve been able to play against some of the best players in college golf and have been able to post high finishes.

How will the education you are receiving benefit you after you leave WVU?

I will be able to pursue any degree with the knowledge needed to do well in any job in the finance world. I’ve learned a ton of great information in college, and I would be able to use that knowledge in the real world.

How have Mountaineer Athletic Club donors impacted your journey as a student-athletes? What would you tell a donor if you were to meet them?

The donors give us everything that we need in order to succeed. Being able to have the scholarship I do has been an incredible financial burden that has been lifted off my shoulders. I do not come from a super wealthy family, and a college education would be insanely difficult for me to afford. If I could meet these donors I’d tell them that any success I have in my life would not be done without them and their support.

What is your favorite WVU memory or moment?

My favorite WVU moment was winning the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate in February 2022. For 3 days our team came together and played great golf and we were able to win. Winning a golf tournament with the team is another level of excitement, and I hope there’s more of those before I leave WVU.
