What accomplishments has your scholarship helped you accomplish? In the classroom, in the community and/or in your sport?
Being a scholarship athlete is a huge responsibility. I am incredibly appreciative for the opportunity to represent West Virginia University and the baseball program. For that, I continue to work hard both on and off the field. The scholarship has given me the opportunity to play for a top baseball program in the nation and instilled discipline and a strong work ethic.
How will the education you are receiving benefit you after you leave WVU?
The education and degree that I am receiving from WVU will help me transition into a career in finance whenever my baseball career comes to an end.
How have Mountaineer Athletic Club donors impacted your journey as a student-athletes? What would you tell a donor if you were to meet them?
I know I speak on behalf of the baseball team when I say that we cannot thank the donors enough. The donor contributions continue to grow our program, whether it be facilities, equipment, gear, food, etc. All of those contributions make us a better program.
What is your favorite WVU memory or moment?
When I was a recruit I was able to experience the regional that WVU hosted. Being able to see the atmosphere, fans and The Mon sold out is something that I want to experience as a baseball player at WVU.
