What accomplishments has your scholarship helped you accomplish? In the classroom, in the community and/or in your sport?
A scholarship to play college basketball has meant the opportunity of a lifetime. Ever since I was a little kid, I had a dream to play college basketball. It provided me the opportunity to receive a bachelor’s degree and hopefully a master’s degree while doing what I love to do best. A basketball scholarship and college degrees have helped prepare me in life on and off the court.
How will the education you are receiving benefit you after you leave WVU?
It will prepare me for life off the court. We all know that someday, my career playing basketball will be over. It’s inevitable for everyone. No matter what happens after college, my college education will help prepare me for my life after basketball down the road.
How have Mountaineer Athletic Club donors impacted your journey as a student-athletes? What would you tell a donor if you were to meet them?
Mountaineer Nation is the best. I’ve met many donors in my time here, and I’m grateful and thankful for each and every one I meet. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have success on and off the court.
What is your favorite WVU memory or moment?
I have a lot of them, but I’ll never forget playing with this group of teammates this season and running out onto the carpet in front of 14,000 fans each and every night.
