General Game Day Information

Here is everything you need to know to make your experience at Mountaineer Field this year an enjoyable one:
Prohibited
Umbrellas -- For the safety and convenience of all fans, umbrellas are not permitted inside the stadium.
Banners and Signs -- Banners and signs, except those associated with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, are not permitted at Mountaineer Field.
Solicitation -- Selling of any items by anyone other than authorized WVU personnel or designated vending personnel in or around Mountaineer Field and its parking areas is prohibited.
Alcoholic Beverages/Containers -- Alcoholic beverages and any hard containers (glass bottles/metal cans) are prohibited at Mountaineer Field.
Public Address -- o special announcements are made over the stadium public address system. The public is asked not to request this service. Physicians are strongly urged to carry a personal pager or cellular phone to games.
Smoking -- Smoking is not permitted in the seating areas, aisles, or restroom at Mountaineer Field. Fans may smoke in the concourse areas.
Fan Services
Public Telephones -- Public telephones are located in the concourse area of the west side of the stadium. A courtesy telephone is located on the concourse level on the east and west sides of the stadium.
Guest Services -- A fan service room is located in Mountaineer Field’s south concourse near sections 97 and 134. This room handles lost and found, lost children, emergencies and general ticket information. Fans may also report problems or make suggestions on a special form available from the attendant.
Guest Services Kiosks -- Guest services kiosks are located outside Mountaineer Field adjacent to the east, west and north gates prior to, during and after each game.
Lost and Found -- Lost and Found service is maintained at the Guest Services Room, located on the Southwest concourse. All unclaimed items will be available at the Event Staff office (304-291-4650) on Monday following the game.
First Aid Rooms -- First aid rooms are located on the east and west concourses. Contact the nearest event staff member, law enforcement officer or stadium staff member for assistance.
Ticket and Gate Information
Gate Information -- Please enter the stadium through the gate indicated on your ticket. WVU students may enter only through the student gates on the east side of the stadium. Gates open approximately 1½ hours before kickoff.
Tickets -- All persons, including children, must have a ticket for admission to Mountaineer Field. Only infants in arms are admitted without charge. Fans should be aware that only WVU students who have paid proper fees are admitted with a Mountaineer Card.
Bag Check -- The following items will be searched and are permitted into Mountaineer Field: diaper bags, average size purses, small purses and fanny packs. The following items are prohibited at Mountaineer Field: gym bags, backpacks/school bags, large purses (exceeding 12” x 12” x 12”), coolers, weapons and laser pointers. A size wise box is available at each gate and guest services location to determine if a bag is permitted.
Express Lane -- An express lane is available at the east, west and north gates for those fans entering Mountaineer Field who are not carrying items into the game.
Wheelchair/Handicap Seating -- Wheelchair and handicap seating is available at the stadium. These seating areas are for persons confined to a wheelchair and their guest. The seating areas are located behind Sections 100, 113, 114, 116, 117 and 131 and in Boxes 1-7, 32-38, 39-45, and 70-76. Tickets should be purchased in advance for these areas.
Passouts -- No passouts to leave the stadium will be issued until the end of the first quarter. Ticket holders who leave will receive a passout check, which must be presented, along with a ticket stub, for readmittance at any time. Restroom facilities with access from outside the gate are available near the east and west Gates prior to kickoff.
Will Call -- The will call window is located at the ticket booth outside the north gate and opens two hours before kickoff. A photo ID is required.
Lost, Stolen or Misplaced Tickets -- WVU is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced tickets. There are no refunds or exchanges.
Resale of Tickets -- Ticket holders are advised that the resale of tickets on University property is strictly prohibited. If resale of tickets on University property is detected, the tickets may be confiscated and the sellers escorted off campus by authorities.
