Coliseum Brick Project
Etch Your Name as Part of the Mountaineer Family
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is now paying for more than $7 million in much needed renovations and upgrades to the WVU Coliseum. These renovations include:
New men's and women's basketball locker rooms
The construction of a new players' lounge
A new study hall area and team video theatre
A state-of-the-art strength and conditioning center
An expanded equipment area
Club area/hospitality
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to have your name, or that of a family member, permanently associated with this effort and tradition of Mountaineer athletics.
Now, for only $150, you can have your engraved brick(s) permanently embedded in the walkway outside the WVU Coliseum. This 4,200-brick walkway will be located outside the Blue Gate (main entrance to the Coliseum) for all visitors to view.
All proceeds from the Coliseum Brick Project will directly benefit renovations and upgrades to the WVU Coliseum.

You may order your brick(s) via brochure, which you can request by phone or you can download the order form online at MountaineerAthleticclub.com. All orders need to be mailed in to the Mountaineer Athletic Club.
Bricks will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis until 4,200 bricks are sold
Bricks will be located outside the Blue Gate of the WVU Coliseum
A system will be established so that donors may easily locate their brick(s)
Brick placement began in the Summer, 2004
Ordering Instructions and Inscription Guidelines
Inscriptions may contain three lines of up to 15 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation
Only one name per brick is allowed (eg. Jerry West Class of 1960, The Smith Family or Go Mountaineers are permitted, but John and Jane Smith is not)
Use only capital letters
Use numerals (0-9)
Use of symbols will be limited to ampersand (&), apostrophe ('), comma (,), dash or hyphen (-), exclamation point (!), forward slash (/), numeric (#), period (.), plus (+), or quotes (")
Greek letters will be permitted for fraternity/sorority brick inscriptions
Inscriptions will communicate non-commercial messages only; Company names may be used, but company phone numbers, slogans and pitch will not be permitted
Discriminatory or inappropriate messages which refer to an individual's or group's sex, race, color, religion, national origin or physical handicap will not be permitted
The WVU Coliseum Brick Project Committee will have final approval on all bricks
Bricks ordered together will be placed together to the extent possible
